The Canada National Synchronized Swimming team has chosen Penang as their training ground for two weeks prior to the 2010 FINA World Cup which will be held from 16 till 19 September 2010 in Chiangsu, China.

The energetic team were Champions of the 2009 World Championships and are in Penang for more then three weeks and will be in Penang till 12th September 2010 to conduct their synchronize routine training here.

On a fully self-paid expense trip of their own to Penang, the Canada National Synchronized Swimming team has selected Penang as their destination to practise their winning routines because of its good weather and friendly locals which makes a suitable location for them to train at ease. When asked, the team has mentioned that they have already made the decision to come back to Penang for a month-long stay next year in June 2011 to train for the World Championships which will be held in Shanghai, China.

After the 2010 FINA World Cup, the next competition for the Canada National Synchronized Swimming Team will be the Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India. Follow the progress of the Canada National Synchronized Swimming team at www.synchro.ca.
