This New Year's Eve head on over to Gurney Plaza to kick-start the VisitPenang Year 2010-2012 with a BANG! From 7.30pm till midnight, join us as we usher in the new year's and celebrate the launch of VisitPenang Year 2010-2012.

The Honourable Chief Minister of Penang, Y.A.B Tuan Lim Guan Eng will be present to launch the VisitPenang Year 2010-2012, a 3-year tourism campaign in initiative of the State Government to further promote Penang to the world! So come join us in celebration with a series of captivating Malay, Chinese and Indian cultural performances by Seni Mutiara, The Spring Productions and Temple of Fine Arts immediately after the official launch of VisitPenang Year at 8.30pm followed by a rocking good time for new year's eve at Gurney Plaza with three different live bands to celebrate Penang's further rise in tourism. Make sure you stay on to countdown to the new year's together with us which will be completed with an all exciting 10-minute firework display to mark the beginning of an exhilirating Year 2010!
