Here comes the bride...and plenty of them!

Today many local lovebirds in Penang tied the knot on this auspicious date of 09/09/09. A wedding on this particular date is believed to allow an everlasting romantic marriage of 99 years to form between two people.

Joining this Penang Heirtage Mass Wedding held in George Town were 19 couples from China. This event was organized by France Taipei Bridal House and supported by the Penagn State Government.

Couples who participated in this mass wedding registered their marraige at the E&O Hotel which included a 3 day 2 night stay followed with a mass wedding photo shoot of the couples at the Penang Chew Jetty and the Esplanade. Penang's heritage has been a very popular wedding photo shoot venue all this while. It is no wonder couples in love want to have their wedding photos taken with the essence of Penang in the background because it is Penang that you fall in love with and it is in Penang that you fall in love.
