Organic Eco-paper from Banana Trunk is a revolutionary prototype paper as a result of extensive research conducted by School of Arts, Universiti Sains Malaysia.

This paper is stronger than conventional paper and very versatile with wider applications while being environmental friendly.

This exhibition aims to showcase the paper as a suitable artistic medium and the artist's expertise in Malaysian Batik may hopefully do it justice. There will be 40 revolutionary art pieces showcased in this exhibition.

This is Batik Tang 5th solo exhibition and he hope that this exhibition crystallizes the symbiosis of arts and sciences that is propagated from Penang.

In order to mark this momentous occasion, a larger percentage (50%) of th sale of any art piece will be channeled to the "National Cancer Society of Malaysia, Penang Branch" to help those in need.
