The Indonesia Food, Handicraft & Culture Festival is back again this year.

Come experience authentic Indonesian Culture and delicious cuisines at the Indonesian Food, Handicraft and Cultural Festival 2012 next weekend on the 2^nd & 3^rd of June 2012. The two-day festival is organized by the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia and Penang State Tourism Development and Culture Office.

Prepare to pamper your taste buds with the variety of mouth-watering cuisines from all over Indonesia such as Soto Padang, Satay Madura, Satay Kambing, Empek-empek Palembang, Ayam Penyek, Pecel, Bakso and many more. There will also be stalls selling Indonesian handicrafts, snacks, Indonesian Batik and handbags.

The highlight of the festival will be the special cultural performances specially imported from Indonesia which includes “Tari Golek Ayun-Ayun” and “Adaniggar Kelaswara” dance  from Yogjakarta, “Topeng Keras” from Bali, “Tari Ho Lia Lio” from East Java, “Jaipong” from West Java, and many more.
