Immerse yourself in French culture with the 11th edition of the French Art and Film Festival (FAFF) happening in May and June. Organised by the Alliance Française de Kuala Lumpur and the French Embassy in Malaysia, FAFF is is set to showcase the diversity of French culture in Kuala Lumpur and Penang with art, film, theatre, circus, books and music.
In Penang, join in the celebration at Gurney Plaza’s New Wing Atrium and take part in a week of exciting activities organised in conjunction with the festival:

6 June, 5.00pm – Official Launching Ceremony of Découvrez la France Expérience

10 June, 5.30pm – French Poetry-Reading Contest by Alliance Francaise de Penang
If you have a taste for French films, Golden Screen Cinemas in Gurney Plaza will be screening five recently-released French films from 6 – 13 June, such as Une Vie De Chat (A Cat in Paris), Liberté (Korkoro), The Intouchables, Les Emotifs Anonymes (Romantics Anonymous) and Les Femme Du 6ème Étage (Service Entrance). The award-winning silent film, The Artist will also be screened.
