Australia’s largest short film festival, TROPFEST is happening this weekend, an excellent curtain call for the month long George Town Festival. It’s presence at this year’s festival puts George Town squarely on the map with other prestigious TROPFEST screenings in New York, Las Vegas, Abu Dhabi and other world cities.
MALAYSIA is expected to be the first country in South-East Asia to secure the rights for the Australian-based Tropfest, the world’s largest short film festival.
Amongst the 12 short films that will be screened is “Red Green Blue (RGB)”; “Photo Booth”, “My Constellation” ; “Lemonade Stand” and “Kitchen Sink”.
GTF 2012 is in its final week and will have a series of exciting programmes that include Northern Music festival over the weekend at 2.00 pm, and Penang Homecoming Concert at Penang Performing Arts Centre at 8.00pm.
