Astro AEC is set to kick start their new program called The “Malaysian Music 2012” which will be broadcasted on 13 October at 6.00pm. This weekly program involves a 6-month long production which includes a series of unplugged music tours around West Malaysia which started on 16 June at Kuala Lumpur.

Audiences will have the opportunity to interact closely with the talents of the show and are invited to bring their own music instruments, and join in the fun during these tours. The main show will be anchored by local famous independent musicians Zhou Jing Liang(周金亮) and Zhang De Sheng (张德胜), together with Astro ASQ’11 winner & runner-up, Geraldine and Tha Kien Ying. The show acts as a platform for students and independent musicians to showcase their talents in music, composing and songwriting. The objective of this program is to provide a new platform that is approachable (at a street level) for all Malaysian music creators.

The next location will be none other than Penang on 30 June at the Festive Square at Gurney Paragon. Be there at 8.00pm to showcase your talents or simply to enjoy the music. The theme for that night will be the “Sea” with Shakers as the theme instrument.
