Come and join the crowd to watch the action packed and exhilarating Penang International Lion Dance On Stilts Competition as 20 teams from all over Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong battle it out for the championship title with their most creative and original lion dance stunts.
This renowned event is jointly organized by Penang State Tourism Development & Culture Committee and Penang Wushu, Lion & Dragon Dance Association for the 5th consecutive year with the objective to promote Lion Dance as a healthy sport and a tourist attraction. Lion Dance has become a multicultural sport and it is recognized as the National Heritage of Malaysia.
Members of the public are all welcomed to witness this exciting competition.
