altRecently, TIME online did a survey to determine the top 100 “Selfiest City in the World”, using photos downloaded from Instagram that included geographic coordinates and with the tag “Selfie”. Photos downloaded within that particular time frame showed that in George Town, there are 95 selfie-takers per 100,000 people, placing the city at number 10 out of a total of 459 cities.

Petaling Jaya, Selangor was also in the list and ranked at number 5 with 141 selfie-takers per 100,000 people. At first place is Makati City and Pasig City, Philippines, followed by Manhattan, New York; Miami, Florida; Anaheim and Santa Ana, California; Petaling Jaya, Selangor; Tel Aviv, Israel; Manchester, England; Milan, Italy; Cebu, Philippines; and of...

The early bird period was initially set to open till 31 March or when 30,000 slots are filled up, whichever comes first, but it is being filled up much earlier than expected.
