The Eid or commonly known as Hari Raya Aidilfitri or Hari Raya Puasa in Malaysia, is celebrated on the 1st of Syawal (according to Hijrah Calendar) to mark the end of Ramadhan.

It is a national holiday in Malaysia and this year, it falls on the 25 June 2017.

In general, Hari Raya Aidilfitri is a holiday that celebrates reconciliation, reunions and renewing of relationships with others, especially family members.
