The streets of Penang is the place to see and to be seen this Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day Holiday with glittering lights and colourful decoratives of the festive season adorning the trees and walkways.

Lights and decoratives are now in the midst of being strung up along the roads of Penang particularly Light Street for the public to admire while driving through and also for them to take a stroll along  the walkway for a picture perfect good time.

Besides the picturesque lights and decorations, the public can also have their photos taken with the God of Prosperity which will be placed along the decorative walkway. The walkway will be transformed in a way where when you walk into the vicinity, you will feel like you are walking into Chinese New Year with a burst of romance for you to share with that special someone.

During Chinese New Year, many old and new friends of Penang will gather here during the holidays, by putting up these lightings and decoratives, it is meant to create a new vibrant feeling for Penang which will go together with the line-up of exciting festivities in the state during this season up till March and also in-conjunction with the aim of the State to become the No.1 destination for Chinese New Year yearly.

So don't miss capturing those precious moments in Penang that will forever me remembered during this full blown festive holiday which has everyone in high-spirits! Gong Xi Fa Chai and Happy Valentine's Day!
