Last weekend, over 27, 500 marathon enthusiasts flooded the iconic Penang Bridge for the Allianz Penang Bridge International Marathon (APBIM) 2011. This subsequently placed APBIM in the Malaysia Book of Records as the Largest Bridge Run Event in Malaysia.
The marathon also featured some of the best runners from 67 different countries such as Thailand, Singapore, Kenya, Canada and United States. On top of that, the recent winner of Miss Malaysia Universe, Penang-born Kimberly Legget also participated in the 10KM run.
To all the participants, you can now check your results, timing and ranking on the Penang Marathon website. The results for the top 15 runners from each category are also available on the website.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in making the event a success. See you again next year on the 18th of November 2012!
