Date: 18th December 2011 (Sunday) Time: 6.30-10pm Venue: Shop in D’Park, Autocity, Juru, Seberang Perai Penang State Government together with the Christian Federation of Malaysia (CFM), which comprises the Roman Catholic Church, CCM Churches and NECF Churches will be bringing Christmas cheer to Penangites through the Penang State Christmas Open House 2011. This annual event will be held on Sunday, 18 December, 6.30 pm to 10.00 pm at Shop in D’Park, Autocity, Juru, Seberang Perai. Various churches from both the Island and mainland will be conveying the message of Christmas through an exciting line up of presentations themed LOVE, PEACE AND JOY TO ALL. Among them would be Cultural dances Sketches and Mimes, Bicycle show, Youth band , Christmas Carols and many more! Additionally, there will be a Christmas message by the guest of honour for the night, the right honorable YAB Lim Guan Eng followed by the presentation of cheques by the organizing committee to six charitable organizations. This is traditionally carried out to reflect the spirit of giving to those who are less fortunate especially during the Christmas season. This is the 4th time this event is being organized in participation with the present State government with the first three events being held on Penang Island. As this is the very first time for the mainland, we would like to warmly welcome all Penangites especially those from the mainland to come and enjoy the spirit of Christmas in the tradition of the Malaysian Open House which reflects the multi ethnicity and unity of our nation. Admission is free and light refreshments will be served. All are welcomed.
