[Announcement] The Penang Hill Funicular Train will shut-down its operation for TWO (2) days from 2 July – 3 July 2012 for half yearly preventive maintenance works, and shall resume business on 4 July 2012.

Visitors to the Penang Hill top can opt for alternative routes via the Jeep Track (Botanical Gardens) or the existing hiking routes. Members of the public can visit the website www.penanghill.gov.my to check the schedule and any development on the train service.
