Event: Penang International Lion Dance on Stilts Championship 2012 Date & Time: 27 July 2012 (2.30pm – 10.00pm) & 28 July 2012 (4.00pm – 10.00pm) Venue: Han Chiang Stadium Free Entrance Twenty lion dance teams from Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong will go all out to impress the audience and judges with their skillful actions and stunts as they compete for the Lion Dance on Stilts championship title this Friday and Saturday at Han Chiang Stadium, Penang. All members of the public are welcome to witness this highly energetic and exciting sport and art. Photography enthusiasts can also participate in the Penang International Lion Dance on Stilts Championship photography competition with the first prize of RM800.00. The second and third prizes for the competition are RM500.00 and RM300.00. To participate, fill in and submit the entry form to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
