The Lion Dance Photography Competition held as part of Penang International Lion Dance on Stilts Championship 2012 (on the 27th and 28th July) was a huge success.

The judges has a dfficult time choosing the winners from the 107 beautiful and vibrant photographs submitted. The deserving winners were picked based on the composition of the photograph, technical skills and uniqueness. Most important, the photographs must embody the spirit of the Lion Dance.

The 1st prize winner, is a powerful and pulsating piece by Teoh Siang Hooi from Parit Buntar. The winning photo captures the energy and excitement of the Lion Dance. Teoh will recieve cash prize of RM 800.

Mindy Ng is the 2nd prize winner with a photo that captures the entire Lion Dance on Stilts team. She will recive RM 500 cash prize.

The 3rd prize goes to Tan Tong Toon ; which will recieve RM 300 with his uniqe photograph of the Lion Dance Team.

Khor Yee Khon and Chong Jiu Nee are consolation prize winners who will recive RM100 each.
