The Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH), together with MAH – Penang Chapter, are jointly organizing the 2nd National Hotel Security Conference on Monday, 01 July 2013 at the Grand Ballroom of the Eastin Hotel Penang.
The Conference, themed “Cyber Crime and Credit Card Fraud: Current Trends and Patterns”, will be opened by His Excellency, the Governor of Penang, T.Y.T. Tun Dato' Seri Utama (Dr.) Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Abbas. More than 300 Security and Safety Managers from throughout Malaysia are expected to attend the conference with the aim of updating hoteliers with the latest trends and patterns on cyber crime and credit card fraud.
The conference will showcase several interesting topics and well known speakers such as YDH ACP Roslee bin Chik, Head of Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) from the Royal Malaysia Police, YDH Dato’ Azmi bin Arrifin, Head of the Commercial Crime Unit from the Attorney General’s Office, the business continuity management specialist from Marsh, Mr. Lim Sek Seong, and the noted criminologist from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Associate Professor Dr. P. Sundramoorthy to share their knowledge and experience. These experts will provide an in-depth analysis and understanding of cyber crime and risks involved in the hospitality industry.
