When they took over the popular franchise in 2008, part of their training included an eight-day stint in Seoul, so they should know. However, as everything in their shop is made to order, Ibrahim reckons they are not really classified as “fast food”. The menu mainly features, as you would imagine, chicken, although it’s not all barbequed: there’s “Olive Luxury” or “Hot Hot Drums”, pieces of deep-fried chicken which are served with fries, rice or mash and coleslaw – the latter is coated in quite a spicy sauce which is really rather tasty. All their sauces come direct from Korea. The Jerk BBQ and Korean Charbroiled are also very palatable, and two of their most popular items.
Other dishes include sandwiches and burgers, rice and spaghetti, and there are soups and salads for starters. What’s really special is that they use 100% Halal Certified healthy olive oil for the deep frying. Their ice cream desserts are also unique; for example their Bing Soo is a bit like our “Mua Chee”.
The Family Sets are good value at RM59.90+ and come with free drinks, and there’s a special menu for kids for just RM7.90+. From Mondays to Wednesdays until further notice, you’ll get a Chicken Chop, not usually on the menu, for just RM12.90++.
For details of this and other special offers, call them on 604-210 1019. |
