In conjunction with the upcoming Christmas celebrations, Swez Brasserie at Eastin Hotel, Penang is offering an all-you-can-eat E-nions Christmas themed buffet.

You will find the irresistibly cute little yellow E-nions standing among a wide variety of gorgeous Christmas treats on the buffet table, such as the traditional roast turkey, beef Wellington and Yule log. The array of delectable spreads is prepared by executive sous chef Daniel Tan.

Just recently, we get the first taste of Rasa Deli’s croinuts, a delicious merge of croissant and doughnut. The deli at Shangri-La’s Rasa Sayang Resort and Spa, Penang is making the croinuts, a version based on the cronuts created by New York-based chef Dominique Ansel.

One of the simple joys in life is discovering Mama Kuih, a stall selling simple yet delicious homemade kuih (cakes). Located at Jalan Raja Uda Apollo Market in Butterworth, the stall is managed by Mama G.T. Ng.

She has garnered a following of customers with an array of homemade kuih. There are the Malaiko (Malay steamed cake), Bak Tong Gou (sweet steamed rice cake), Kuih Talam and Kiya kuih.
