Enjoy authentic Peranakan cuisines at the brand new Restoran Pinang Peranakan, located at Logan Heritage on Beach Street.

The restaurant’s menu offers many Baba-Nyonya favourites such as Gado-Gado, Belacan Chicken, Kerabu, Curry Tumis Seafood and specialty dishes such as Nyonya Steamed Fish cooked with coconut milk, turmeric and lemon grass. The restaurant also serves traditional desserts such as Chendol and Bubur Cha Cha. Kopi Luwak  (Civet Coffee) and Bird’s Nest is also available here. The main dishes cost around RM15- RM 40, depending on the size of dish.

The restaurant uses daily fresh vegetables and ingredients in the cooking.

Owners of this restaurant, Sherina Lim and Lee Hock Aun remarked that their menu is based on recipes that have been in their family for many generations. Lim and Lee also own the small café located inside the Penang Peranakan Mansion on Church Street.

The restaurant serves daily set lunch from 11.00am-3.00pm and a wide ala carte menu selection during dinner from 6.00pm to 10.00pm.
